Terms of service
Last updated: 12 June 2026. By using WimTix Alert you agree to these terms.
1. The service
WimTix Alert is an independent monitoring service that emails you when Wimbledon ticket availability changes for the courts and days you select. We are not affiliated with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) or wimbledon.com.
We notify you of availability, we do not buy tickets on your behalf. All purchases must be completed by you directly on wimbledon.com.
2. No guarantee of availability
Wimbledon returns are released at random and sell out in seconds. We cannot guarantee tickets remain available when you click through our alert, or that every drop will be detected by our system. Delivery of an alert is not a guarantee that you will obtain tickets.
3. Payment, duration, and tiers
A one-time payment activates alerts through the Wimbledon 2026 men's final (~13 July 2026). The base service runs at a 5-minute check interval; optional speed upgrades reduce that to 1 minute or 5 seconds, increasing the chance of detecting contested drops. Prices include VAT where applicable; payment is processed by Stripe.
4. Refunds — strict no-refund policy
All payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. This is a strict, unconditional no-refund policy and forms a core, bargained-for term of the contract between you and WimTix Alert.
4.1 Why. WimTix Alert is a digital monitoring service. The moment you complete checkout, we begin supplying the service: a monitoring slot is allocated to your account, your courts and days are configured, scheduling and alert infrastructure are provisioned and committed on your behalf, and fixed third-party costs (payment processing, email delivery, compute) are incurred immediately and are non-recoverable by us.
4.2 Express consent and waiver of cancellation right (UK and EU). By completing checkout you (i) request that we begin supplying the service immediately, before the end of any statutory cancellation period; (ii) acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel under Regulation 36 of the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the equivalent provisions of EU Directive 2011/83/EU once the service has been fully supplied; and (iii) expressly waive your 14-day cancellation right to the maximum extent permitted by law in respect of any portion of the service we have already supplied. The service is treated as fully supplied once your monitoring slot becomes active.
4.3 No refunds in any circumstance. Without limitation, we do not offer refunds, credits, partial refunds, pro-rata rebates, goodwill payments, or replacement purchases in any of the following circumstances: a drop you missed; a drop that sold out before you could click through; alerts that did not result in a purchase; a change of mind; a change in your travel, health, or work plans; technical issues outside our reasonable control (including AELTC / wimbledon.com outages, throttling, captchas, queueing, your inbox provider's spam filtering, your network or device failures); a fortnight in which no tickets matched your selected windows; cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling of The Championships in whole or in part; weather, force majeure, or third-party action; duplicate or accidental purchases; tier upgrades or downgrades; or dissatisfaction with the service for any other reason.
4.4 Chargebacks. You agree to contact us at support@wimtix-alert.app before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Filing a chargeback in breach of this clause, or in respect of a service we have already supplied, is a material breach of these terms. We will defend any such dispute with these terms, the timestamp of your express consent at checkout, and complete service-delivery logs, and we reserve the right to recover all reasonable costs (including bank, processor, and administrative fees) from you and to permanently bar you from future use of the service.
4.5 Statutory rights. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any right you have under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the service has not been performed with reasonable care and skill, your remedy is a repeat performance or, where that is not possible, a price reduction proportionate to the unperformed portion of the service — not a full refund.
4.6 Acknowledgement. Ticking the checkout consent, clicking the pay button, and completing payment together constitute your binding acknowledgement and acceptance of clauses 4.1–4.5.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share, resell, or redistribute our alerts; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or attack the service; use the service to facilitate ticket touting in violation of wimbledon.com's terms.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel and stop all alerts at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or from your account page. Cancellation stops future alerts, but as noted in section 4 all payments are final and no refund is issued on cancellation.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
8. Privacy
See our Privacy policy for how we handle your data.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced via the account page or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: support@wimtix-alert.app.
